In the words on Emeril Lagasse, Busch Gardens is kicking it up a notch at their annual Food and Wine Festival. The 2015 Festival will feature two new taste attractions including those from New Orleans’ French Quarter and Asian inspired flavors from the Far East.
The French Quarter tastes will include Cajun favorites like gumbo alongside perfectly paired wines, while flavors hailing from several thousand miles away will be a part of the Far Eastern offerings. A number of authentic Asian inspired creations will be available to visitors who visit during this special event. This year’s festival kicks off May 22 for Memorial Day weekend and runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday through June 28.
The concept of the festival, now in its third year, is to offer individual sized portions of exotic flavors for sale at 14 different kiosks throughout the park. Busch Gardens has always been known for its international flair, particularly European themes which serve as the backdrop for rides, shows and shops.
Aside from the two new flavors, old favorites will also return including specialties from France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Spain, to name just a few! From the foodie to the novice wine drinker, visitors to Busch Gardens Food and Wine Festival are in for a special treat this year!
